Black Women's Rape Action Project offers practical support and counselling to Black and immigrant women including asylum seekers, who have suffered rape, sexual assault, racist attacks or other violence.
Women Against Rape is a grassroots multi-racial self help group for women and girls who have been raped or sexually assaulted, in the home and outside. They support survivors when they report to the police, seek protection from further attacks, or are preparing for court; applying for compensation; or claiming asylum from rape. Their 15-year campaign resulted in the recognition of rape within marriage as a crime.
