Serge Sumerling
|
Serge is a scholarship graduate from The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts (2006). During his time training he picked up the prestigious Sir Alec Guinness Memorial Award for acting, played the lead role in The Penny Drops (a film which won a 'short' category at the Raindance Festival), and he was a finalist at the BBC Carlton Hobbs Radio Competition. Since leaving drama school a year ago he has been busy working on two pilot TV series, a number of short films and is very excited to be in the very first cast ever to be performing The Brother - A True Story.

Darren Stoneham
|
Born in London and raised in Hertfordshire, Darren travelled to the US to study acting, and after graduating from The New York Film Academy, he has appeared and worked on independent, student and feature films including Wounded Man which was submitted to The Cannes film festival. Theatre works include; “Smirnov” in Anton Chekhov's The Bear, “Bernard” in David Mamet's Sexual Perversity in Chicago and more recently, “Trigorin” in an adaptation of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull TV work includes; Channel Five's factual drama Hanrahan Investigates soon to be aired and Man walks into a Bar - a sitcom pilot for “theexpoproject.com”. Darren has also written two short screenplays and plans to direct the first of these later this year in New York.

Charlotte Graham
|
Charlotte trained at the Guildford School of Acting graduating in 2004. Theatre credits include, "Angellica Bianca" in The Rover, Castle Grounds Guildford, "Olivia" in Twelfth Night, Bellairs Playhouse, "Belle" in A Christmas Carol for The Dreaming Theatre Company, York and a year later for The Castle Theatre, Wellingborough. TV Credits include All about me for BBC, Heatwave for BBC, Shoot the Writers! for ITV. Film credits include "Celia" in The Globe Hotel (D Productions) and "Mary Magdalene" in The Da Vinci Code (Sony Pictures). She has also appeared in numerous corporate and pop videos. Charlotte feels privileged to be part of a project with such sensitive subject matter, and hopes its raises people's awareness to the issues involved.

Kat Palmer
|
Kat graduated from London South Bank University with BSc (Hons) in Media & Society. She went on to gain a Post Grad Acting Diploma at the Bridge Theatre Training Company and has since been involved in a variety of projects. Film includes short film Orange People and most recently appearing as a lead character in a A Guide To Wrecking Your Life - a series of short dramas for ITV4. Theare includes staging her own showcase at the Soho Theatre as well as The Grimm Tales, Under Milk Wood (both Cockpit Theatre), andTopless (Bridewell Theatre)

Matt Jamie
|
Matt Jamie trained at Drama Studio London. Theatre work includes national and international tours of numerous Shakespeare plays: two productions of Romeo & Juliet (in which he has played "Romeo", "Tybalt" and "Paris"), MacBeth, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Comedy of Errors, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Nights Dream and Much Ado About Nothing. Other recent theatre productions: King Arthur (Arcola), Remember Remember (Riding Lights national tour), and The Devil's Law Case (White Bear). Matt also regularly performs staged readings of obscure Elizabethan and Jacobean plays for Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. Matt's voice has featured on BBC radio and on BBC TV's documentary series This World. Film work includes pop promos, commercials and over a dozen short films including the lead in Sometimes The Smallest Places (Triology Films) which played at this year's Cannes Film Festival. Matt is often recognised as the face from the posters for The 2006 BP Portrait Awards at the National Gallery!

Jamie Ramsburg
Jamie holds an MFA in directing from the Actors Studio Drama School in New York City. London credits include: Tick Tock Clock as part of Bite Sized Festival at Theatre503 and Below 14th as part of the LOST Theatre One Act Festival at The Courtyard Theatre, Kings Cross. Jamie has also directed and produced several actors showcases for Debut Productions in London and Manchester. New York credits include After Evelyn at Theatre Studio Inc., Two Guys and a Girl at Manhattan Theatre Source, Rarin' to Go at Chashama Theatre and The Maids, Cowboy Mouth and A Room Facing the Moon whilst in training. This autumn, Jamie will be directing True West at STERTS in Liskeard.

Mill Goble with Juspal Bansal
Mill Goble gained her degree in Classical Studies and Drama from Royal Holloway, University of London, and furthered her studies there with an MA in Greek Theatre Performance. Whilst at university, she directed Hippolytus and produced Thesmophoriazusae (both with SURHUL Classical Society). She was a DSM on The Mikado (Savoy Opera Society), and The Winter's Tale (SURHUL Drama Society). She is currently employed by The Ambassador Theatre Group, and also worked as Production Assistant and Stage Manager for Macbeth (The Troika Collective) at the New Wimbledon Studio last November.
Juspal Bansal is the founder of Big Belly Productions. He has worked in the fundraising and charity sector for several years, including time spent working with domestic violence charity Until The Violence Stops. The Brother – A True Story marks his debut in fringe theatre production.

Kathryn Nicholson
Kathryn studied Theatre Design BA(Hons) at Rose Bruford college, specialising in both set and costume design. She has designed a number of shows, including the UK premier of "Europe" by Michael Gow, "The Promise" by Soviet playwright Aleksei Arbuzov for the Hobbs Factory, and Time Out Critics Choice winner "Eyes Catch Fire" at the Finborough Theatre in Earl's Court. Kathryn also works within graphic design, working in the City as a consultant, and is developing her own line of hand made crafts.

Stage Management

Eyal Israel (Stage Manager, Lighting Designer)
Eyal began stage management at his high school in 2004. Since then he has moved to Liverpool to attend the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts studying Theatre Technology. As well as stage management, Eyal is also trained as a lighting designer and a director. A few of his recent projects include Director for PVT Wars and assitant director for The Mill On The Floss in Liverpool. He wa also stage manager for Clamjamfry in London last month.
Eileen Robinson (Assistant Stage Manager)
Eileen was born in London and studied Dramaturgy in Leeds before returning to Southern climes to pursue Drama and Theatre studies at Royal Holloway. She is also a Manga artist, completing her first volume Sound as a Pound or Why the Euro makes no Sense in 2006, and hopes someday to work in the comic book industry in Japan. She is also a loyal follower of the weplaycds djs.
