A new play by Alexander Fiske-Harrison

“There is no such thing as an innocent question."

1900 Vienna.
In a new age of enlightenment and
artistic freedom, the city clings to its old ideals
of honour and privilege. When an army officer
and a young Jewish painter fall in love,
they find themselves caught up in a web of
suspicion, paranoia and betrayal.
Someone must pay the price...

"A touching four-hander...Allison Troup-Jensen’s
production deserves a further airing"
John Thaxter The Stage (Read the full review here)

"It is refreshing to find a new play that gets away from
bedsit angst...One comes away with the sensation of
having seen an accomplished...historical play"
Michael Billington The Guardian
